I think it's funny how everyone's decided it should be called 'Super Sonic 2', as in 'Super Saiyan 2'. It’s definitely fitting considering the electric sparks that Sonic gives off when powering up! Personally I think it's the Cyloop power stacked on top of the Super transformation, therefore it's technically just two power ups in one, and not entirely a new transformation.
